In addition to our other ground fighting and striking disciplines, we at RPFS are pleased to offer our members the opportunity to train and develop skills in the disciplines of Muay Thai and American Kickboxing. Currently one of our most popular programs, Kickboxing at Rat Pack has recently expanded it's schedule to three nights per week (M-W-F) and is open to all Rat Pack members 12 yrs. of age and over, regardless of experience. If you are looking for a fast paced training session which combines fighting skills and techniques with "pedal to the metal" cardio training, Rat Pack Kickboxing is the class for you. Bring your own gloves and gear or feel free to borrow ours!

edarn

Head Instructor: Edward Arner: Rat Pack's Kickboxing program is spearheaded by former competitive kick boxer, "Kickboxing" Ed Arner. In addition to having trained extensively in both Muay Thai and American Kickboxing and having participated in numerous martial arts seminars, Ed boasts an undefeated amateur record. His unique combination of size, skill and experience make Ed a formidable athlete and competitor while his easy going personality and demeanor have made him one of the more popular at Rat Pack as evidenced by the growth of our Kickboxing program since its inception in late 2005.

bubba

Assistant Instructor :T. "Bubba" Naratil : Bubba "Bubba-licious" Naratil joined the Rat Pack staff in early 2007 following a unanimous decision win at the "Tri-State Smoker" kickboxing event in Scranton, PA. At over 6 feet tall and 265lbs, Bubba, the runner up at the 2007 Palmerton's Strongest Man Competition, has both the size and strength to intimidate any opponent yet he combines that presence with the flexibility and mobility of a much smaller athlete. This athleticism coupled with his "gentle giant" demeanor, has made Bubba a very popular instructor with the Rat Pack kickboxing crowd.

mario

Assistant Instructor: Mario Cesare: Mario "Super Mario" Cesare began his martial arts training at Dynasty karate under Grand Master Robert Nenow (10th Dan).  After training for 9 years he attained a 2nd Dan black belt in American Tae Kwon Do and is currently working towards a black belt in Shorin-Ryu karate, presently holding a black& white belt.  Since joining Rat Pack, Mario has further honed his fitness level and both his stand up and ground fighting skills while training with Ed Arner as his training partner.  Mario steps in and  keeps the training intensity level high whenever Ed has other obligations. Mario has recently been promoted to the rank of blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jits under Cardoso/Simrell.
