EDWARD ARNER: (Kickboxing/MMA) The MMA Nation is spearheaded by former competitive kick boxer and long time Rat Pack instructor, "Kickboxing" Ed Arner. In addition to having trained extensively in both Muay Thai and American Kickboxing and having participated in numerous martial arts seminars, Ed boasts an undefeated amateur record. His unique combination of size, skill and experience make Ed a formidable athlete and competitor while his easy going personality and demeanor have made him one of the more popular at Rat Pack as evidenced by the growth of our Kickboxing program since its inception in late 2005.

FORREST "THE WISE MAN" MEYER: (Children's Kickboxing) Over the past 35 years Forrest Meyer has trained with several instructors and in various disciplines including Ishin Ryu, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu and American Boxing. Never-the-less, Forrest sees himself not as a "martial artist" but, rather as, simply, a fighter. Further, as Life Skills and Vocational Education teacher for the past 18 years, Forrest knows well that people learn best when they are in a comfortable environment and surrounded by friends. It is for these reasons that RPFS, with its "no-ego" policy, its multi-discipline approach to fight training and it family like environment was tailor made for Forrest and his unique training programs and he looks forward to continuing those traditions at the MMA Nation location.

KEVIN KRESGE: (Tae Kwon Do/Karate/Traditional Arts) While the Karate/Tae Kwon Do program at MMA Nation is new to the Rat Pack curriculum, Kevin Kresge is far from a newcomer to the martial arts game. Rather, Master Kresge has trained in the art of Tae Kwon Do since 1982, currently holds the ranking of Sixth Dan under Grand Master R.C. Nenow and prior to coming to Rat Pack was the chief testing instructor at Nenow's Dynasty Karate in Palmerton, PA for many, many years. Master Kresge also has expertise in traditional Tang Soo Do and NeChang Katas, Korean and Japanese style sparring, is proficient in Okinawan style weapons and, in more recent years, has expanded his training to include the art of Kempo which he continues to train on a regular basis.Rat Pack and the MMA Nation are extremely pleased and honored that Master Kresge will be overseeing our newly added "Traditional Arts" program.

Brian "Slice" Kimble: (Assistant Kickboxing) At only 20 years of age, Brian Kimble, a native of the Bangor/Rosetto area, is the youngest staff member at the MMA Nation. A protégé of Ed Arner, Brian has been training closely with Ed and the other Rat Pack trainers for nearly two years in all aspects of mixed martial arts and, from the outset, has demonstrated a natural aptitude for the "stand-up game". Currently, Brian is scheduled to make his MMA debut in Atlantic City in October 2008.
