RAT PACK'S DYNASTY KARATE
CARRIES ON A TRADITION OF WINNING AT THE 2010 KEYSTONE GAMES
Carrying on a long standing tradition at RPDK, several instructors and students recently competed at the 2010 Keystone Games.
Led by its Saturday instructor, Steve Meining, the RPDK team ended up with 10 medals on the day with Sensei Meining
capturing Gold Metals in the Elite Black Belt Division in Kata, Weapons and Sparring!
Joining Steve on the winner's podium that day was 6th Dan Black Belt Andre Berard who returned to competition action for the first time since a nearly fatal car accident several years ago and captured both the Elite Black Belt Gold Medal as well as the first annual R.C. Nenow Courage Award.
2nd Degree Black Belt Brad Benner captured the Silver in Sparring, 1st Degree Black Belt Amanda Rehrig took the Gold in her sparring division, Yellow Belt Alan Roden took a sparring silver in the Novice Division, Green Belt Adam Francia took Gold in the Intermediate Division and last, but certainly not least, Yellow Belt Alec Benner took the Gold in both Kata and Sparring in the Novice class.
Great job everybody and thank you for putting it all on the line in support of RPDK!
